In the New World energy crises will continue due exploding population growth, uprising tensions between countries/world powers and current political disinterests in fossil energies (oil, coil & gas).

Alternative (renewable) energy powers – like solar and wind – aren’t sufficient enough, because (simplified) the wind is not always blowing and the sun is not always shining (within EU).

Nuclear energy deals with heavily safety measures (and treats) (meltdowns) and limited degradability of the material (1000+ years of radio-activeness).

We have to keep in mind that hydrogen gas (waterstofgas) is only an energy carrier/storage source.

Thereby, we see political discussions how energy resources interfere in the traditional view of green landscapes (windmills) and take up a lot of space on (expensive) lands (solar panels) – who could also be used for agricultural activities, national parks & housing.

Moreover, in the political climate there is a huge wish to become independent of external oil & gas imports coming from discussable regimes.

The main difference between fusion and nuclear energy is that fusion energy melts the atoms and nuclear energy splits (where energy comes free). The advantages: no risks of meltdowns, limited radio-activeness and unlimited power generation.

Water energy could be in my opinion one of futures cleanest & profitable energy resources: water is always flowing – from the mountains, into the rivers, deep in the oceans and on the waves of the sea. A bunch of (small) dynamo (turbine) constructions could be easily placed alongside many rivers.

I am always very charmed by the sub-Sahara desert solar plan, whereby only a few football fields of solar panels are enough to serve world’s energy needs. The transfer to hydrogen gas is needed for storage purposes. We have to take into account that regional conflicts could be involved and backup plans are always needed.
