#375 - My holiday time in the (mystical) Jewish District in Antwerp (Belgium)! (English)

If you walk outside Antwerp Station to the left a bit, you come in a total different world & vibe: The Ultraorthodox (Chassidic) Jewish District.
The Hasidic or Chassidic Jews follow an 18th-century mystical movement within Orthodox Judaism, emphasizing joy, humility and (mystical) devotion to God. They follow spiritual leaders known as rebbes.
When I (deeply) analyzed the men, women and children in their outside looks & behavior (inner) patterns – I could see first of all some East-European face recognitions. The Hasidism movement traces its roots to Ukrainian Jews and they flew under prosecutions & pogroms towards Antwerp. They follow strictly the 613 commands from the Torah.
I observed them all: I couldn’t feel any inner aggressions/disturbances by all of them – the women, the men & the children. The men are walking/cycling relaxing/controlled and have mostly a high-working attitude. The women are busy with the children and I saw never in my life such happy peaceful children, playing with their bicycles and steps. I never felt any resentment to be in ‘their’ territory: I walked along schools & being in their shops.
Nearly all the young boys have already so called peies, the two-sided long hair locks at the forefront. It did some research about the deeper meaning then only ‘their religious identity’: they symbolizing a decent/pious life by splitting the rational (forehead) and the emotional (the back of the head).
In this social media time with explosive (overwhelming) information load, I approached charmingly a Jewish young woman with a ‘Kosher’ cellphone. It’s exactly an old-school phone with only a big number template. The minds of the people were very calm & clear to live like this Amish-way.
At least, the way of walking of the Jewish people were at average very light: they seems spiritual higher.
